This was conducted in the academic year 2009\/10 at the Department of Spatial Design of the Faculty of Architecture of the Rheinisch-Westf\u00e4lische Technische Hochschule Aachen and concurrently in the context of a visiting professorship at the Facolt\u00e0 di Architettura &#8220;Aldo Rossi&#8221; of the Universit\u00e0 di Bologna, Cede di Cesena, for the publication of differentiated design tasks and exercises with the participation of nearly one hundred German and Italian students of different semesters. Based on a spatial analysis of the historic core city of Bologna, the designs deal with the topic of housing at various locations.
