Markus Merkle. Unit

Markus Merkle (born 1975) studied sculpture at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and works mainly sculpturally, but also on paper or with digital media. Characteristic for him is the use of simple basic forms, which in their repetition and with the inclusion of the principle of chance, turn the individual work into a singular event within a similar series. Basically, Markus Merkle's works are determined by a tendency to the ephemeral, the main focus is on different states of balance.
