BlockHausBerlin. BloccoCasaMilano

This edition of the Rosa series, whose theme is the architecture of the city in text and image, presented on the basis of current research and project approaches, shows a didactic project approach to the topic of urban block and townhouse in Berlin and Milan. The student project BlockHausBerlin and BloccoCasaMilano was developed in WS 2015/16 in parallel at the Potsdam School of Architecture and at the Politecnico di Milano. This edition documents both the conceptual approach and the student projects, which thus become programmatic strategy concepts within the framework of a leading theme of urban architecture. What is surprising is the great creative scope that emerges in the implementation of elementary design tasks anchored in the history of the European city.
