Geometrics are geometric constructs that have a distinctly aesthetic effect: in the sense of constructive-concrete art as pure self-representations of geometric possibilities. They are created by treating found and invented simple geometric basic motifs with known or imagined procedures.
Alfred Hückler’s creations show “how beautiful logic can be” and seem “like icons of the twenty-first century” (Otto Patzelt). This book is intended to convey the joy of this in exemplary fashion. This is done through graphs that have emerged based on four particularly productive and simple design approaches.
