Museumsinsel Berlin

It is one of the most famous places in Berlin: the Museum Island in the center of the metropolis. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999, it is a unique ensemble of museums that impresses not only with its famous art collections but also with its architecture. There are many publications about its individual museums and their art treasures. What has not existed until now is a documentation that shows this prominent place in its entirety, as a place that is a great work of art in itself.
